Provisional Pass
When a new user first logs into the Meridian Federal Union server, they are automatically issued a Provisional Pass.
This pass serves as a temporary identification document prior to full registration as a citizen of Meridian.
Validity
The Provisional Pass is valid for 7 days.
During this period, the holder is considered a temporary resident and does not have access to core civic privileges.
Restrictions
While under provisional status, the following activities are not permitted:
Employment within Meridian
Opening or managing a bank account
Access to citizen‑only services or infrastructure
Participation in state‑regulated economic or social systems
Full functionality becomes available only after successful citizen registration.
Initial Funds
All new arrivals receive $500 in starter funds to begin their experience in Meridian.
These funds are immediately available upon issuance of the Provisional Pass.
Skin Aspect
Players do not use their regular Minecraft skin within the Meridian Federal Union server.
Instead, character appearance is managed through an in‑game Character Editor that provides detailed customization options.
Character Editor
The editor allows modification of the following components:
Clothing: pants, shoes, torso, headwear
Hair: style selection, followed by optional in‑world haircuts at Boutique‑Salon locations
Base appearance: skin tone and eye set (selected during initial login)
Initial Selection
Upon starting the game, players choose:
A skin tone
A set of eyes (shape and color)
These form the baseline appearance for the character.
Advanced Customization
Changes to core physical traits such as skin color, eye shape, or eye color require in‑world RP mechanics, typically involving medical or surgical roleplay.
ID Card Acquisition
Citizenship registration within the Meridian Federal Union requires obtaining an ID Card.
This document is not free; a small fee is charged during the registration process.
Pricing may vary depending on current Government policy.
Location
ID Cards are issued at City Hall facilities.
Upon arrival, locate a kiosk terminal to retrieve a service ticket.
For ID Card registration, select Ticket A (Registry Office).
Other departments available at City Hall include:
Elections Department – voter registration and electoral services
Chamber of Commerce – private company management, licensing, and municipal tax processing
Registration Process
After paying the required fee, the clerk will request the following information:
Character name
Surname
Date of birth
Gender
Only characters aged 18–80 are eligible for ID issuance.
Finalization
Once the registration is complete, the clerk will provide an official ID Card.
