Getting hired

/company lists businesses that are hiring. Employment is a record, not a handshake: it carries a role, a salary, and a start date.

Shifts

Clock in at a company terminal with your badge and clock out when you finish. Shifts are what your employer sees, and what your pay is calculated from.

Chartering a company

A company needs a name, a type, and a charter from the Chamber of Commerce. Some activities also need a licence — banking, food service, private security, transport, media, real estate, manufacturing, private healthcare.

Applications are reviewed by the Chamber. Both the charter and every licence are public: anyone can look your business up in the registry.

Selling

Companies sell through point-of-sale terminals. Every sale produces a receipt and a line in the company's books, which the owner can read in the portal.
