Privacy Policy

This describes what NEXT Roleplay stores, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we store

From the game. Your Minecraft username and UUID, and the records your character generates: civil registry entries (name, date of birth, declared residence, documents), bank accounts and transactions, employment and business records, and moderation history. These exist because the roleplay is built on them.

Chat and communications. In-character and out-of-character messages are retained so that reports can be reviewed. Do not treat in-game chat as private.

From this website. If you sign in to the portal, an encrypted session cookie holding your Minecraft UUID and username. Nothing else. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.

If you link Discord. Your Discord user ID and tag, so the two accounts can be matched.

What we do not store

We never ask for and never store your Minecraft password, your email address, or any payment details. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Your NextPay PIN is stored only as a hash and cannot be read by anyone, staff included. It is never sent to this website.

The web portal

Signing in uses a one-time code generated in game by /weblink. The code is valid for ten minutes and can be used once. The portal is read-only: it can display your records but cannot change them.

You only ever see your own data. Where a record necessarily involves another person — a civil union, an adoption — you see their name, because that is on your own document, and nothing else about them.

Who can see what

Business charters, trade licences and bank reserve figures are public: see the registry. Your identity, balance, transactions and address are not, and are visible only to you and to staff acting on a report.

Retention

Game records are kept for as long as the server runs, because the roleplay depends on continuity. Login codes are discarded once used or expired.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and records to be deleted. Deletion removes your character and its records; it cannot remove messages other players have quoted or reported.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
